Job: Program Director

Creative Arts Workshops for Kids (CAW) seeks a full-time, inspiring and experienced Program Director to plan and lead the organization's youth arts programs in Northern Manhattan (Harlem, Washington Heights and Inwood) and work with its Executive Director to enhance and expand programs, increase outreach and build new community partnerships.

This self-motivated Program Director is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and administration of CAW's three core programs: After School Art Works (a semester-long apprenticeship program for middle school students with professional artists); Saturday Art Works (a half-day arts workshop and mentoring program for children 5-11); and Summer Art Works (a summer jobs program for at-risk teens who work with artists to create large-scale community art); which collectively serve more than 2,000 children and teens each year. The Program Director ensures the quality of programs through curriculum development, staff hiring and training, and on-going program evaluation.
